Uncharted

In so many ways I feel as my life had been charted out for me. Maybe by me- maybe by expectations of others- who knows. I took what I thought was the expected path. But now, now I am in uncharted waters. I am somewhere new and fresh and wide open. Wide open for new possibilities. New, but familiar. Familiar songs that had once been sung deep down in me but were quieted as they didn't seem to have a place in my former predetermined world.

I rarely know how to sing these songs but if I sit and listen long enough I find myself humming along. I hope that one day soon these hums will turn into something much much more!
